i hav nth to sae except im so disappointed poor england lost to host portugal in this euro 2004. haiz!~
actuali i din intend to watch football until i realised at midnight wen i tuned to chnl 5 dat dere was de quarter-final match between england and portugal so i decided to stay put and support england =)
n de toopid match started at 2.35 a.m. so late lor! but nvm aniwaes i was watching de match wen in jus 3 mins, owen struck a goal in past ricardo!!! yay! dat goal was so beautiful! it was such a nice swerve on his instincts. whoa~! 3 mins.!.
portugal starts to attack fiercely n den de tailsman of england, wayne rooney had to b sent to hospital for a broken bone. dis sort of dealt england a blow as he was substituted by vasell. but de midfielders somehow cant get pass to de forward strikers after rooney was gone. *sigh*
n de stopid referee ruled out sol campbell's header as a foul. dats so unfair. it wasnt a foul and if dat header was counted, england wld have made it to de semi-finals le~!
puis. but aniwaes portugal was strong. and england's defence had real problems and loopholes. wen postiga substituted portugal's captain luis figo, he sent de goal in, levelled wif england now. haiz.
ar den dunno at ard after 89 mins or so i dozed off at de break.... wth!!! so i missed de whole of de later part lor! damnit~! but aniwaes portugal gt another goal in and as a last ditch from england, lampard striked a goal in at the 115th minute. then there was extra time, but england players were exhausted.
and sad enuff, england lost to portugal 6-5 on penalties. haiz. beckham' goal din make it in! he lost his footing on de sandy penalty spot and wen de ball missed, beckham was staring at de penalty spot in disbelief. so sad. later on vasell's goal oso missed. while their goalie james was 'gutted' for failing to save any of de penalties served.
seaman was better in de past thou he blundered in de worldcup.
after portugal's goalie ricardo saved vasell's penalty, he went himself and struck de damned ball into england's goalpost~! arghs..... n dats de end for poor england.
haiz. its de fourth tym dey failed to earn honours in international games on penalties.
it was a bitter defeat for de england players wen dey started off wif such a great start wif owen's goal at 3 mins
awwww. england's officially out. but it was a gud game anihow. =)

campbell, lampard n ashley cole was gud too, in particular cole!~
lets wait for worldcup 2006 den! i cant wait for england to make a comeback !!!
